  1. I’m cleaning out the safe, came across this leather pouch with a tag MP28 ?, is this for a MP28, marked Otto Sindel Berlin 1935 - thanks
  2. Try gunparts https://www.gunpartscorp.com/search#query=Soumi loader
  3. Look closely, don't see a magazine in the Reising

  5. TRL - I'll try and answer some of your questions, Springfield Armory did make BM59's with Nigerian stocks back in the early 80's, as I transferred a couple for customers. There was a question about them being marked 'Springfield Armory', and I contacted Collen at SA, the answer I received was that Bob Reese imported all the remaining BM59 parts, which included unmarked receivers. Once they were in the US (receivers) they were marked Springfield Armory and given a serial number. The Nigerians that I received had barrels ~2 inches longer than the normal BM59 barrel along with the tri-comp at the end of the barrel. Your barrel and gas system look to be from a Garand, which I have never seen before on a Nigerian, not to say it couldn't happen. SA did have Boyd (sp) make some stocks, so not every stock is 100% original to Beretta. Hope this info helps
  6. Sorry to hear about this, a true gentleman to deal with over the years on items I purchased for my AMT, he will be missed
  7. Correct as is, now you need to find out about the barrel, I believe when you remove the tri-comp you should have 5 rings on the barrel, you will understand when you remove it. If you purchase any magazines, make sure they have the aluminum follower. The only other thing I can think of with FA is the ‘knitting needle’ inside the op rod spring.
  8. Yes, what you posted is the correct winter trigger for the pistol grip along with the trigger, just slightly longer than the full stocked model.
  9. Has removable tri comp, just push in and turn. FA parts are in the lower left side of the pic from whatacountry, what I do see, it does not have the correct winter trigger & trigger for a pistol grip stock. You can purchase the correct one on GB and swap parts. I can’t advise on the mags as we’re not a ‘free state’ in CT. Might want to pick up a bayonet, fairly inexpensive and available.
  10. There's one on eBay now, fixed price from a individual in Switzerland - type in BM59
  11. Claude - My opinion is that what you have is a authentic BM59 put together by Reese. When Bob Reese brought the BM59 inventory back to the USA, there were receivers that weren't maked 'Beretta', they were blanks, but finished. I got in 2 Nigerian rifles back in the early 80's (I'm a dealer) and they were marked Springfield Armory, customer questioned me and I contacted Reese. I received a letter stating that they were original unmarked receivers that Reese marked with their name. The serial number seems about right. As far as the sight adjustment marked left, a lot of parts from the US were sent to Beretta, real good possibility that they came back. I took off my rear sight on my BM62, and the cover was marked H&R (Harrington & Richardson), I don't think anyone really knows since a mix of parts were used in the construction of the Reese rifles. My BM62 has a 'K' prefix for the serial number - I called them on this and was told that Bob Reese thought that there were duplicate serial numbers, so he prefixed some of what he had with a 'K' - HTH
  12. There is on individual name Angelo in Connecticut that I've dealt with as far as NFA items, he lives in Glastonbury (or surrounding town) which is the greater Hartford area. Trumbull is in the greater Bridgeport area, which happens to 55 miles south of Hartford (FWIW) and could have sbc (phone), at&t (u-verse) or charter (cable) as the main ISP provider (there could be others, but would be few). Again, if I can help it's only a short drive down to Trumbull - the police is Trumbull don't tolerate scammers as I read all the time with them busting individuals who prey on seniors.
