  4. I know a press would be best, but I don't have immediate access to one any of you know whats best outside of freehanding drilling? thanks!
  5. So i got a new dummy tube and and magwell i have does not fit. I would like to mold it as best I can to the dummy tube without damaging it. The only idea i had atm was to get a plastic mallet, but the magwell on he dummy receiver and hit it into place as im not to concerned with the dummy receiver getting a little beat up. thanks for any advice!
  6. Title says it all. Have a new dummy tube I’m trying to put a sight on but want to keep as much finish as possible. I see two little “nub” where it was previously attached. Not sure if anyone had any ideas, thanks!
  7. So my barrel thread protector (BTP) has elector pencil of the last 3 serial numbers of the mp40. I can’t image that was the standard method for this early in the war but I could be wrong, thanks!
  8. Ive heard it possible to straighten and reflair the pins to get it out and back in but you need special "tools". I would really want to use the pin thats already in it again.
  9. Anyone have an suggestions for getting the pin that holds the resting bar in and out? I know it’s a cardinal sin, but I want to install an original resting bar I have (so I don’t want to notch it) Thanks for any help!
  10. Can I get pictures with this? I need to put a resting part on my MP40 but i want to do it right getting the pin in and out, thanks!
  11. How would you go about fixing this bren stock? I have no skill in wood working so I was hoping to get suggestions on what to do and what glue to get, thanks! bren questions - Bren Light Machine Gun & Lewis Gun Message Board - MachineGunBoards.com Forums
  12. To me its cool to have a kit that matches since I dont have the funds to purchase a registered one. Price wise they usually go for quite a bit more, but im more interested in the historic aspect that all those parts once made a MP40 that was used in that configuration. Just my 2 cents maybe it does not matter to most. Maybe one day ill stumble upon one (maybe in this forum) that is matching that I can afford, but until then parts kits is how I enjoy the MP40.
  13. So I have a BNZ 42 kit and it did not have a number half moon. I haven’t seen any other kits that did have numbers from steyer until yesterday and now I don’t know if mine would or wouldn’t have been numbered, thanks for any information!
  14. Do you have any excellent stocks with lowers that you will be listing/ i can get form you now?
