  1. @Z3Big Daddy Thanks a million for the pictures. Now I know how my bolt looked befor it was cutted. @PK I´m located in Germany. According to our very blinkered laws, sub machine guns are generally not allowed to own. The only exception are dekorational part kits which are deactivated by cutting the bolt and welding an drilling the barrel. Therefor our receivers are not modified and the gun looks like original from the first optical impression. The magazin is fixed and the trigger locked with a little welding point to the receiver. To own such a deactivated dekoration part kit is possible since May of this yeare. Before May it was completely not allowed to own anything that even looks like sub machine gun, even if it was made of plastic. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/blink.gif However now it´s allowed and you get a nice certification of an national agency about the deactivation which bring a few new EUROS to our national treasury. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/mad.gif The parts which are strictly prohibited are barrel and bolt. So what I want to do with my M1A1 dead carp is to mount it on an lucite plate which a blueprint an some pictures of the gun in the background. Does anybody know where to get a measured blueprint of the M1A1 or wants to sell? I would be very appreciated.
  2. So many owners of Thompson M1 A1 and nobody can post a picture of his bolt and boltface? http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/sad.gif
  3. Hey guys! I found this really nice forum about Thommyguns an hope anybody could help me. I have a deactivated part kit of a M1A1 and the bolt was cuted in 45° in his middle. The cuted front side of the bolt was not included. So I have no idea how the bolt looks in original state. If anybody could post a picture or send me a blueprint of the bolt it was very great. I´m also interested in a complete blueprint of the M1 A1. If anybody can offer and want to sell, please send me a mail. Thanks and a good afternoon gerod http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/ph34r.gif
