Hi Guy's!! I have been reading your board for over 1.5 years. I can't believe the amount of information that is so readily available from the members here, for a little advice, to in-depth takedowns. I never registered before since I didn't own the full auto. I have noticed that there are a number of members out there with the semi's, so I figured I wouldn't be the only one to stand out in the crowd. I have had my Thompson since 1991. No problems to really talk about. I guess I have been lucky, considering some of the other members problems with the 1927A1 semi. My 50 rd drum wich I purchased also in 91 for the small sum of $109.00 works fine along with all the 30rd stick mags. I find that since I left Long Island, NY and moved to West Virginia, I have more time to sit out on the back deck and just let the Thompson sing. My other interests are wildlife management, pheasant farming, remodeling this house that was a former zoo. Plenty of property and wildlife surrounding me. Well that's about it! 1927A1 Steve
