Anyone have any idea how many Winchester BAR's out there transferable? I know registrations are a tax event but wondered if there was any info avail (round #'s) outside of the list in Rock in a hard Place. Thanks, Neal

Yea, The BAR seems the wiser choice the more I ponder on it. It is a original WWII weapon and it IS a Winchester. I don't know how many Winchester (xferable) BAR's out there but I ain't seen many lately. Thanks for your input/advice.

Looking at the purchase of either a sideplate DLO 1917 water cooled or a Winchester BAR 1918A1 (unmod). I love both guns and realize they both have pros/cons but just can't decide which to purchase. Any opinions on which one is a better investment? I'm leaning toward the BAR. The 1917 wc is such a great looking setup, but the BAR is such a classic and it's original GI....OK,FIRE!!!!!
