Hi everyone,
I was doing some searching on the net for some information on a BM59 that I ran into at the local gun store today. I was wondering if someone could help me out with this one.
The local gun shop has a Springfield Armory BM59, cal. 308, folding stock, serial# 00002xx for sale in excellent used cond. for $2400 neg. It's a consigned rifle.
I held it today and it sure looks and feels nice. It also has a bipod on it and comes with a few pouches attached to a belt and marked 5-18. Included are 3 mags marked "BP bm59". Bipod is marked bm59 and the top of bolt is marked PB bm59 with some other numbers. Side of the receiver is also marked PB bm59.
Rifle has a flashhider and I was told the rifle can launch grenades. It has a folding stock. No sling.
What are they worth? How do they shoot? Should the stock have any markings on it?
Thanks for any help you can give me.
