  1. Where is the best place for a seller to sell their Reising ? Thanks, Pete
  2. I have one but i'm in Florida for the winter. I will be home in April.
  3. What do you mean by "End Cap"? I am not very savvy with regard to these terms. I have found and ordered the Spring Kit, thanks for the info. Pete It's #5 & #107 on the schematic in the following link. http://www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/Products.aspx?catid=3823 Pete A. Thanks Pete A. , I appreciate the help. Hopefully this will cure my problem. I like the little rifle and it is remarkably accurate. It appears to have been used very little. Pete I should have my parts this week to perhaps cure the feeding issues. I look forward to the project. Pete
  4. Pete Wass, There is no doubt some would sell. However, I think you're talking about a market of between 20 and 50 pieces, tops....in my opinion... David Albert dalbert@sturmgewehr.com I am too old now to get involved in a project such as this. I would like to have one of the origionals though. I talked to someone a few years ago who had one for sale for a few thousand and I didn't think it to be worth thousands. Probably better to find a stockmaker to cobble one up from the spare stock I have. I wouldn't care about the folding stock if it isn't origional. I only want the long pistol grip. I was thinking perhaps other folks might like just that, no folding stock.
  5. I have considered having one made by a stock maker. Do you think Repros would sell? I think they would. I bought one of the M1 Carbine Paratrooper stocks from Cheaper than Dirt and it is amazingly well made and true to the origional. Also is of a great piece of wood' too good for a GI Rifle.
  6. Are there any Model 55 stocks available, either origional or repros? I bought a full length stock with the idea of making a conversion but am not much of a woodworker. Thanks, Pete

  9. I have a very good model 50 that sometimes does not close fully on live rounds while cycling through a string of fire. Otherwise, the rifle works fine. I was wondering if, perhap, the "recoil" spring may need to be replaced or have a stronger one fitted? I also recently read about and saw pictures of a mod to 1911 feed ramps that seemed like it may be beneficial to the Reising. Any thoughts on changing the angle on the Reising loading ramp? Something else I noticed: I believe the magazine well on my Reising is offset quite a bit. Is it suppose to be this way or is there a problem with it? It would seem to me that if it is indeed offset, that may be causation of the sometimes failure to close on a live round. Opinions appreciated. Pete
