The length of the buttstock is a problem for me. The LOP measures 17" to the center of the butt plate. The LOP on a rifle is usually 14" and since I am only 5' 6" I am really stretched out whenever I mount to the shoulder for accurate fire. I am considering a shorter stock to reduce the LOP to 15 1/2" or 16" at the most. Has anyone done this, and if so, how did it affect the balance and aesthetics of the gun? Thanks Bill
