1980 Bm62 Pics &but Pad

this was purchased new in 1980 and i was told by the original owner it had only 40 rnds

thru it. & never taken apart or modified . i am the second owner

it came with the box gun with sling swivles the box is 300th year anniversary

of beretta and one 20 rnd mag marked p.b.b. m59 no sling or manual

but pad is black with no markings

the only thing not stamped bm59 is the bolt . it is a springfield and i

examined it very closely and there is no other markings

it runs great and very consistant and accurate

bolt is stamped 6528287-sa-a-10

reciever stamped mod.62308w berben corp.n.y.n.y.

p.beretta

made in italy

the op rod has the coating that i hear about

he told me it came this way

Greetings and Happy New Year.

I have the same rifle and box. I have yet to fire it but look forward to doing so. Have three mags and picked up a fiberglass M-14 stock that I hope fits. This is my favorite rifle and I feel the Italians were way ahead of time with the BM-59 series. BTW, I recall reading that only 35 BM-62 were imported. Now they don't even show up in gun value guides. Glad i found this site.
