  1. 2,800 seems light as I'm looking at a Super Match in a McMillan stock with several mags. If their value has dropped that low for ANIB with extra mags I may as well just shoot and enjoy it and let my son deal with this one too.
  2. I have an unfired ANIB BM62 minus wax paper with 2-3 mags. A local friend, an experienced high power shooter, feels it should be in a museum or collection. His advice is to get an ultra/super match m1a and at least dozen mags in trade. I had a party interested in buying the desired M1a and eventually trading. In short, the deal fell through as he felt too old but he changed his mnd after rifle sold. Should I be looking to sell, trade and buy or just shoot the heck out of the 62? I have three 20 rounds mags but one is misplaced. Seems the 62 is worth more but I had a super/ultra (?) with McMillan stock, 6 mags and carrying case for about 2,800. a good price for my friend but don't hink he wants to pay that much. So, to shoot or not to shoot. Love the gun by the way. Thanks, Mc
  3. Have my safe queen out as friend wants to trade for Type 1 NM garand and another feels I should look to trade for an M1A super match as magazines plentiful and cheap. Anyway am reading all the BM62 posts and got to this thread. My bolt is stamped: "03-033-3 PB" with the P as reflected above. mc
  4. Thanks for saving me some grief. mc
  5. Request to join the BM-62 Club. I have Berben 215X ANIB. It's my favorite safe queen and I have yet to fire it. Thanks, Mc
  6. Greetings and Happy New Year. I have the same rifle and box. I have yet to fire it but look forward to doing so. Have three mags and picked up a fiberglass M-14 stock that I hope fits. This is my favorite rifle and I feel the Italians were way ahead of time with the BM-59 series. BTW, I recall reading that only 35 BM-62 were imported. Now they don't even show up in gun value guides. Glad i found this site. Mc
