T-Bone
Took the new Kahr 1927 out. Overall I am very pleased. There were 5 misfeeds out of 160 rounds. Three were on the first mag, two while feeding from the right. The round would hang up/cock in the feed area. Sometimes a second would push forward. This was with PMC FMJ. I inspected the chamber mouth. It is well rounded, but could be polished. The corners of the feed ramp and the right mag feed lip were sharp, so I broke those edges when I got home. I also smoothed out the underside of the bolt. One PMC round hung up the same way coming out of the drum. Otherwise the drum ran very fine - when I wound it enough. A short mag of 200 gr truncated cone rounds that I use in my 1911's was uncooperative. It loved box of 230 gr lead RNFP. The trigger was excellent, if a bit long. Only other issue was the rear sight pin trying to drift out. It behaved after being fully tapped back in. Now to get more mags. I need to thank everyone on this sight for their past postings - they have already been a wealth of information. T
