nfacol
Curt Earl bought MGM Studio's 5 Lewis Guns in 1970 when the studio sold its props. He also bought 15 other machine guns in the same sale. I am looking for the history of those Lewis Guns prior to Curt Earl's acquisition. Some had Canadian Broadhead Arrow marks as they were probably from Savage's Canadian contract run. I'd like to find anyone who has more details on the trail from Savage to MGM. I'll do a FOIA request someday, but going the easy route for now. Also looking for the current owner of 12298. I have his Savage transit case as originally marked by MGM (or maybe Curt Earl marked it?) Edited December 30, 2015 by nfacol
