JohnnyRingo12 Posted June 12, 2020 Report Share Posted June 12, 2020 I have a couple questions on how to weld the tube to the trigger housing. I am doing a MK2 build with a Mk3 housing. I know two welds on the back of the tube where the stock attaches, but how about the tabs? I have seen some guys drill holes in them and weld it that way. m3bobby Posted June 24, 2020 Report Share Posted June 24, 2020 2 welds?? Where at? A long branch Mk2 would have been spot welded on the tabs. An Enfield would have a vertical weld at the front and rear of the tabs and a BSA would be welded along the top of the tabs. If you go for mig or arc welding then placing a bar of the ID of the tube will help take the heat away from the weld. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
