M1921A, M1921AC Barrels Doug Richardson, New

Someone recently inquired about reproduction M1921A and M1921AC

barrels. I have these barrels made by Doug Richardson. They are of the

highest quality. He machined the thin, rounded M1921 style fins on MINT

G.I. M1 smooth barrels, and hot dip blued. The boss at the end of the barrel

where the ring sight or comp goes has the half circle cutout as if a pin had

been fitted, but the barrels are MINT. I have sold several to board members

but until I saw the inquiry I never thought to post here.

Footnote: The barrels (since they started out as M1 barrels) will take

the M1/M1A1 ring sight, or the type 2 or 3 comp with the larger thread.

I guess if you wanted to fit the original small Colt comp you could get

a non-threaded barrel and thread the end for the smaller comp, but the

threaded ones I have are for the larger comp.
