WWII stock vs. 1928A1

I assume by mil stock you mean an M1 or M1A1 TSMG. That "Mil version" has a stock that is bolted directly to the grip frame and is not considered removable. The 28A1 stock is fitted with a slide mechanism that allows easy removal. There are quite a few other differences between the 28A1 and the M1, M1A1. The two stocks are not interchangeable and understand that both versions of the gun were used by the military
