normandy123
What are these supposed to run at and what could be slowin it down ? Anybody make a lightweight bolt mod for the m1a1? BTW this is a transferable WWII lend lease Bridgeport Savage gun not fired since Vietnam 1967 bringback...and did not miss a beat, altho slow....I did have to clean the powder and filth out of it after being stored uncleaned all these years in a closet! The1930sRust
Ammo? My 28 ran significantly slower on my dad's reloads. Just a thought.
Bob
Should run 700-800 on a good day with good ammo. You didn't say what ammo you are using or how clean and smooth the bolt and receiver is. If rusty it will run crappy. Try some PMP that is pretty hot. billie32
Could need a new recoil spring. If the old one is compressed, then you wouldn't have the same amount of pressure being applied to the bolt to make it run faster.
PK.
Check to make sure the Pilot isn’t bent & that the buffer holds it straight & spring isn’t kinked. You might want to insure the hole in the bolt is clean. Also, make sure the handle isn’t dragging on the receiver because of burrs, etc.
