azdskin
I picked up another Reising and it came in this evening. I started to looking over and found a bolt hold open devise on the receiver. I have never heard of a Reising having a bolt hold open. I took the Reising apart and the device appears to be factory original. Has anyone ever seen or heard about one of these. The rifle is in great condition with the exception of a cracked suppressor rib and a replacement stock. BTW: If you have an original H&R Reising Military Stock available for sale or tade let me know. m37
had some time to look at the pics in the photo editor I dont ( think) its factory job but with these guns you never know it looks more like it was a someone that was a machinist or gunsmith did it in the web browser I couldnt see that the bottom of the recvr around the bolt stop had been welded up if you look at the 3rd pic you will see that the flat beside the mag opening that the op rod runs on is missing on the right side It could be a finished rec that H&R had laying around that they messed with But It would have been a lot quicker to pull a unfinished one off the line or make a new one where that area had not been cut away still real neat whoever did it mike http://tinypic.com/view/?pic=nwhm5t
azdskin
The mag that came with the Reising did not have any modifications to it. The only way I can see to use it would be to stick your finger up into the mag well.

apschreiber
Anybody have any thoughts why the 50/55/60 doesn't have a bolt catch like the .22 cal versions? Other than increased costs, of course.
