Barrel Threads of Current Production Thompsons

Does anyone know if the Current Production

Semi Autos from Kahr have the original style

Straight Cut Barrel Threads on the

Receiver End??

 

Year ago I put a Green Mountain 14.5 Barrel on a 1970's Semi Auto Thompson.

Last week purchased another Green Mountain Barrel for a possible Future Project if I came across an older Numrich Gun...put if none are available on places like GunBroker...then maybe a used Kahr Semi Auto Thompson.

Threads should be the same as originals, i dont think they have ever changed.

I had heard something about the Barrel Threads, maybe it was the Cutts Compensator threads.

Threads the same.. But quality varies... Some barrel swaps need a little thread dressing. Comp threads all the same between semi auto production and all 1928 and all but a very few of the earliest 1921 comps. New kahr have press fit barrels though. No threads on the muzzle.

(Threaded) and Front Site to to go on the Green Mountain Barrel project.

 

Are you the Member that modifies the

Semi Auto Magazine Catches to take

standard WW2 Magazines???
