TSMGguy
Just some photos shamelessly lifted off of gun broker of a recently offered "counterfeit" Stevens 620 shotgun. These are made by modifying standard civilian Stevens model 620 shotguns by two craftsmen in Louisiana. I have one each of their 520 and 620 offerings. They make no attempt to duplicate the original military markings, and serial numbers fall outside of the range for military trench guns. The guns are built like tanks and feature perfect fit and function. Refinishing is perfect, with no over buffing and perfect screw heads. The "counterfeits" appear to be really nicely done. Thanks! David Albert dalbert@sturmgewehr.com
wwiifirearms
WOW! I have an absolutely beautiful original 620 hanging in my vault. Last time I checked I think they were about $1500. What is realistic value on one today? I can't believe they regularly get $8k. They way prices are going pretty soon I'll be able to trade a Stevens and a Johnson for a 1928 Thompson. -wwiifirearms

Here, we had a nice gun and two motivated and well heeled buyers who really wanted it. It's the perfect situation for a seller.
