brucea4
Does the M37 pistol grip from the Swedish version of the BAR fit a 1918A2?
MrBill
I am no expert on the 1918A2 but I am waiting on a Group Industries 1918A2 that I plan on making into a Faux Monitor. I contacted George (junkyardslug) and he informed me that the Swedish trigger-group is a drop in, but you have to mill off the mag guide wings. Also the grip is longer and at the wrong angle.A trigger group from a FN-D will not fit because of the rate reducer in the front.
brucea4
Well sir it wouldn't be a drop in if one had to mill some parts....anyone else???
Mongo
They will fit. There are not wings for a magazine guide on the trigger group since the Swedes never adopted the change. I actually have a couple of extra Swedish BAR trigger groups, one even had the 1918A2 components so it will work dual rate where as the normal Swedish ones are fullauto and safe. http://weaponblueprints.com/mongo/pictures/Swedish-m37-left-small.jpg
brucea4
I have a 1918A2 and am wondering if it would work on my gun. I will have to dig it out of storage and try and mount it.
