Dimi77
Hello everyone, I'm 20 years old and I wanted a Thompson since I saw my first documentary about WWII at the age of 5.3 months ago I finally bought my first Thompson (M1A1), since then I've been looking for the books (read bibles) american thunder and american thunder II. I wasn't able to find one of those until today on ebay. But there is a problem, the guy who is selling the book doesn't want to ship it outside the USA (I'm from Belgium). So my question is, are there other books that you would recommend to a Thompson newbie with good information about the Thompson SMG? Or is there someone who can help me to my hands on american thunder (II)? I'm particularly looking for information about production dates and serial numbers. jim c 351
Dimi, I don't know if these sellers will ship to Europe, but you might ask them. dalbert
You need to get the following: The Ultimate Thompson Book, by Tracie L. Hill (2009)American Thunder II, by Frank Iannamico (2004)The Gun That Made The Twenties Roar, by William J. Helmer (1969)Take a look at the pinned post on frequently asked questions, and you'll see most of the books available. I need to do a couple of updates to that section, but the good books are all there. David Albertdalbert@sturmgewehr.com
