Murray
I have finally had time, since I got back from the TCA show, to fit the new wood to two of my 1921 Colt Irish Swords that were in need of some improvement after 83 years of banging around in coal bags on the "East Side" seeing service in Ireland and being buried in a cache for over 20 years. I ordered the new 1921 wood from Dan before I went to the USA and Mike kindly delivered it to me at Fairfax...thank you Mike. The guns look amazing and the wood fits perfectly! Dan had prestained them for me and I have now finished them up with Danish Oil. They look really great and a huge credit to Dan for a fantastic job. We are so lucky to have him. Many thanks Dan Regards Murray P.S. No! I have not thrown the old wood away, it has too much history.

timg953
Just put one of Dan's extended horizontal forends on my 27A1 with a 16.1" overall barrel/cutts. It looks great, matched the old West Hurley furniture perfectly.
