This is a link to the transcript. Clink on page 7 for myth 3 on gun control but sit down first. The rest of the myths are good reading as well. Not sure where # 1 is though. The community comments are interesting as well, looks like a guy with a handle of RKBA is busy commenting on a variety of the public's outrage on this newscast.

This was on ABC News last night too.
One of the media actually took the time to find out the stats that show that crime goes DOWN when more people own guns!
He even quoted the Center for Disease Control saying that the Brady Law and the 1994 ban did not help cut down the number of gunshot wounds reported. And to make things more interesting, some guys doing hard time in Rahway State in NJ (remember the movie Scared Straight?) saying they did not care how many laws Congress passed as they were going to get their guns anyway, and that the only thing they were afraid of was the possibility of facing a gun owner during a crime!!
I wonder what Nancy Pelosi, Frank Lautenberg, Diane Feinstein and co. would think of THAT?!

I find it quite refreshing for one of the elite media to stumble across the truth--even it if only happens once every ten years or so!
