mp43sniper
I'm very happy with my post sample M1A1, built from a parts kit and a Philadelphia Ordnance receiver blank. However, during the first magazine I put through it, the little tab on the back of the handguard mount (that goes behind the barrel) broke off and the mount started to pull out of the receiver from my forward pressure when firing. I tapped the mount back into place and staked it. Several magazines later I'm having the same issue. Does this sound like a problem I should correct elsewhere, or do I just need to replace the mount with an unbroken one? Thanks,Craig Sutton07 FFL / C2 SOT
TD.
Replace the grip mount with the early milled version. Original milled grip mounts are getting hard to find. I believe PK. manufactures this part. He may have it in stock.
