  1. Does anyone know where I can find a Bren .303 chest with or without the mags? I have a new MKII posty and need goodies to go with it. Thanks Jim Rider Okie Armory
  2. Edo; I ordered a Sweedish K kit ths week so maybe I can get info from you on the assembly. I have not purchased a receiver yet but will shortly. Jim in Oklahoma
  3. I purchased from Ohio Ordinance a NIB Reising 50 that included a cleaning rod and sling. I am looking to trade these for magazines for the Reising 50. Both are unused. I need some 20 or 30 round magazines. Contact me if interested. Thanks Jim
  4. I have read that tutorial. I'll read it again and give it a try. Thanks Jim
  5. Twice in the last couple of weeks I have had a case head separate on a Reising 50. This is new Aguila ammunition. Is this a gun problem or a ammo problem??? Any idea where I can get a broken shell extractor for .45ACP? The last problem happened after I had completely cleaned the gun and happened on the last round of the second 30 round mag. Thanks for your help! Jim
  6. THANKS GUYS!!! I removed the stock and installed a new set of springs and a Titanium firing pin. Action worked SLICK!!! Installed the magazine well and ........ back to sticky function. The action bar is too tight against the magazine well so tomorrow I will remove a slight amount of metal from the top of the magazine well and I fully expect to be in the bullet hose business. I appreciate the help! Jim
  7. I went ahead and ordered the 29.95 one and will just parkerize it when it gets here. Thanks for all the great info. Jim
  8. you can get a parkerized mag well from: http://www.keepshooting.com/firearmaccesso...ine-housing.htm $29.95 perfexct replacement well for your Christy mags I called keepshooting.com and the person I talked with said the ones they have are blued. Any other ideas about where I can get a parkerized one? Thanks Jim
  9. Action moves forward slowly and then stops, with a push it will then go ahead and close. I ordered a new spring set yesterday. I appreciate the advice. I had not thought of trying to work the action with the stock off so I will give that a try. Thanks Jim
  10. After 8 months of waiting my Reising 50 arrived. NIB Parkerized with the sling in wrapper, cleaning rod, manual and 1 - 12 rd mag. Action seemed to be very slow to work so I dissambled and cleaned and lubed. It looks like the small amount of lube that it was assembled with had completely dried up. When you retract the slide, without a shell in it the slide will go about half way and then stop. When firing it will fire a couple and then smokestack jam. I was wondering if I should replace the springs or try to smoothe the action parts and relube? Any ideas? The walnut stock is beautiful wood! Jim
  11. Thanks for the ideas. I have some Unique and like the plated bullet idea. Jim
