  1. When I went to preorder mine,I called the gal who took the orders..I was transferred to the gal at shipping by mistake. She was the one who sent BARs out. She told me that when you send your paperwork in send ALL the money with it, (it wasn't required at that time). Because when they do call the people who preordered,a few don't have all the money. So Ohio Ord. Will just go to there list of prepaid orders and ship from that.I had my BAR 14 days after sending them my check. Under my shipping label was a label to another guy who lived in Kansas city Kansas.
  2. Hey Dan....have you worked out your reloading issues? Just woundering.
  3. Hey Dan My Ohio BAR works Great with IMR 4064 @ 50.0 grs, with 150 gr Bullets, but I also have reloaded AP 164 gr bullets, 165 gr,168gr,180 gr bullets also. I only use 4064 for this rifle. You must Full Size Die ALL your rounds. My BAR had a new barrel and the reloaded bullets that ran great in my FN-49, M-1 Garand, and 1903A3 Jammed into the chamber and got stuck with about 1/4 inch of the rear of the round sticking out. That was fun clearing the rifle at the range with friends and family watching! I have shot 2686 rounds (yes I kept count) out of my BAR and ALL but 86 of them have been reloaded by myself. I so love shooting This rifle. Good luck!! Larry
  4. In the 1952 manual that I have here’s what they say, On a Runaway Gun and you need to check for a broken change lever spring assembly or a worn sear release stop lever, I hope this Helps, Larry
  5. Hi Paul Did you work up some loads for your BAR? I have about 7 loadings for mine. Let me know if your still in need. Larry
  6. Hey congrats on buying a OOW semi BAR, I love mine. I had that same exact same problem with Magazines that I bought on line at Gun Brokers, I bought 14 magazines and only four worked, 10 would not lock into the rifle. I used my Micrometer that I reload with, and started measuring the Good (New) mags that worked and came with the Rifle). I found that the back top of the Mags should be no wider than 1.10" max. If they are too wide, I discovered that they would drag and pinch into the receiver, and won’t lock up with the mag catch. The new mags were .98"/1.0"wide at the top rear. After I discovered that fact, I used a large pair of Channel Lock pliers’ and squeezed the top rear Slowly into the Size that would fit into the rifle, (.98” to 1.0”). When I did this, I found that the lips of the mags would bend in just a little bit. So watch for that issue. I then took all the mags back out to the Range and test fired each with 5 rounds each, if that worked I filled them with 18 rounds, and fired as fast as I could. I still had two mags that were still bad; at that point, I threw them away. I hope this helps. (BTW...........ALL OOW BARS Come with 2 NEW Mags.) Larry
