Mike, It'll be interesting to hear how you like the new BAR when you get it.. I'd bet a good magazine article wouldn't be too far behind! I haven't fired mine yet. The weather has been so crappy. The gate is still snowed in at the range down the road. (Not a fancy one, just a huge gravel pit!) Paul

Howdy Guys, Thanks for the replies... Well, I got on the list about 2 months ago. I was told it would be summer-fall 2009.. Then, I got a call about 2 weeks ago. They said they had one for me if I wanted it. Of course I took it.... I think they must have had some cancellations and were trying to ship out the ones they had built.. Whatever happened, it worked out for me.. I got it last Thursday. I work weekends, so have been busy. Also, it's been below zero for several days so I haven't gotten out to shoot it yet.. It's supposed to be 15-20 tomorrow, but I have a morning dinner appt, and I have to move some round bales after that. Hopefully, I'll get out tomorrow to shoot a few rounds. I also ordered an extra flash hider because it appears the bipod will scratch it up pretty good. I'll use the worst one with the bipod, and the best one without.. It's a beauty, I caress it a lot!!! Howdy Folks, Well, it showed up today! It's a beauty! I'm still unpacking all the stuff. I got the extra parts kit as well. Perhaps I can get out to shoot it tomorrow. Another snowstorm coming, might have to wait a day or two.... Paul

Howdy Folks, My new 1918 should be at my doorstep in a few days! I've been looking around for some load info for this rifle. I don't need exact recipes, but some ballpark stuff. What sort of bullets and powder do these things like? Thank you for any information...... Paul
