  1. I know. Lol. I've been thinking of ivory also from Nutmeg sports. Lol
  2. Hi, I just had a Colt 1903 restored by RGS and first and foremost they did an awesome job. I am now looking for a set of genuine mother of pearl grips. Any idea who sells or can custom make some? I tried eagle grips but there appear to be for a .25 pocket pistol. Thanks in advance.
  3. All: Thank you very much for the responses. Appreciate it!
  4. Hi, does anyone know if anyone makes high quality 1920's reproduction .45 cal ammunition boxes. Looking to add some to my collection. Also interested in Colt .32 repro boxes. Thanks,
  5. Hi, I have to store my SBR Thompson somewhere that is secure so does anyone know of a secure location in either Nevada or the Washington DC area that is secure and can properly store by SBR. Thanks, Doc
  6. OCM, Thanks for the ideas. I am also planning on visiting the hotel in Tucson where Dillinger was staying at. Also may try and see if I can visit Jesse James's house in Missouri also. Pretty much have all summer.
  7. All: I will soon be driving across country from NYC to CA. Being a 1920's history fan I am planning on visiting as many historical sites visited by Dillinger, Capone, etc. Any recommendations on places to visit?
  8. T-Bone and T Hound I appreciate the feedback. Will have to go out and buy some now!
  9. Hi, I am wondering if the Kahr Arms 20 round new made magazines fit new made Thompson semi-auto guns? Link to item: http://www.kahr.com/Clearance/Kahr-Thompson-20-RD-Stick-Magazine.asp
  10. Hi, I am looking at buying a vintage (1920's) .32 caliber ACP empty ammunition box as part of my collection. Does anyone have one for sale and/or know a good place to buy one. Thanks, Doc
  11. Hi, I am thinking of buying 1000 rounds of either "PMC bronze ammunition" or "Magtech" ammo. Both are 230 gr FMJ. Any thoughts if this is good clean ammo? Thanks, Doc
  12. Looking forward to seeing the finished pistol. Will post some pics
  13. Ron, I remember what Patton said about pearl grips...think i will stick with ivory Darryl, RGS is doing the restoration service. Appears to do high quality.
  14. Hi, I am getting a 1905 made Colt 1903 hammerless in .32 caliber restored and have been able to find all of the parts necessary to rebuild excpet for an early version of what i abeing told is a "colt 1903 trigger safety screw" Apparently since my pistol is an early version i need a screw that consists of six seperate parts (??) Does anyone know where I may be able to get one? I already tried Numrich to no avail. On a seperate issue I am not sure if i want the pistol in carbonia blue with safety, trigger, and grip screw in fire blue, or get the gun nickel plated with either ivory or mother of pearl grips. Any thoughts? Thanks, Doc
  15. All: Thanks for the updates. I will check with the Doug Richardson drawings. Thanks, Doc
