  1. Zamm, that's a real nice Tommy you got there.Did Mr. Dan do your stock set or did P.K. do that to? What color tint did you use, if you don't mind me asking. Because Dan will be doing me a set of some fancy wood soon. I will have to talk to P.K. soon about getting a acuator knob like the one you got on it. And the list go's on and on. One more thing is. Is it a big deal to put a 1928a1 or a M1 lower reciever on it ? Or sould I say what's all in volved with the process of adapting one to a 1927 A1 http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/unsure.gif I've tried the search option but could come up with much.I've built a Fn Fal from scratch,so I learned quite a bit from that.
  2. The key word is" PERSON ".Meaning just the average Joe.It didn't anything about C&r's or Dealers.I do believe you have to be a dealer or Manufacture of guns.
  3. I got my drum in late October and mine wasn't all that great either.Mainly it was the fit and finish that really was bad. The main thing was the rivets and mounting rails. All is well now(after I fixed it) but spending dam near $300.00 for this "THING" really pissed me off for what I got.I had the same song and dance you guys guys have with your drums also. But it works after I had to fix the problems with the drum. I'll will NEVER buy any thing from Kahr again. Thier Thompsons suck,Drums and quality control sucks as well too. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/mad.gif
  4. That's a nice piece you got.I wish I can get something like that here in Michigan(C&R) Have fun shooting it. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif
  5. Also thanks for the big welcome . http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif
  6. Thanks for the info.I thought that dealer was wrong, I wasn't sure.I wish I can remember his name, but my memory has failed me,but the gunshow was at Gibralter Trade Center in Taylor.Hardrede I think the dealer was confused about the 30 inch rule, thanks. C&R is the way to go here, but I don't know if I'm up for it or not. By the way I just got my 50 rnd drum from Kahr.I'm rating it at a 6 out of 10. Some of the stamping could be better on the key and the drum it's self has "forming" scuff marks around the base of the drum. The blue looks to be a quick half*ss job. Not to satisfied with it for how much they charge for the thing. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/mad.gif Is this common with the drums or is Kahr just not up to par with quality control and charge you a arm and a leg for what you get.(This should have been another thread...sry) http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/huh.gif
  7. First,hi all. This is my fisrt post. Have a question about my A.O. 1927 A1. I was thinking about making it in to a SBR awhile back.I know what it takes to get this done, here in Michigan. So one day I was at the local gun show and I was talking to a Dealer about this idea. He told me not to bother with the S.B.R. stuff. He said I can have it registered as a pistol if I put a short barrel on it.I said to him that don't sound right. He said it's not a problem, just send it back to Khar and have them do the work and reregister it back to you as a pistol. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/blink.gif I think he nuts but it worth asking you guys if you ever herd of this being done.
