  1. A friend just sent me some pics from the Argentine National Arms Museum ( some very cool stuff ) including a display with a couple of Thompsons. Have we seen that type of compensator before? Is it a suppressor, blank adapter?
  2. Bill, I believe you purchased the unopened box from me at Tracie's show several years ago. I had several of the unopened boxes at the time. Not that it matters who you bought it from, but it your post brought back memories of the earlier TCA Shows. Just for the record, they were genuine WWII Kerr-type slings (just like the one's Phil Askew recently sold on the Board) repacked for long-term storage by the U.S. Navy in the 1950's. I only have one box left that I kept for myself. Thanks for the memory Chuck! I really had no recollection as to where I got it but I do remember theTCA shows and having a great time. I need get back there as soon as this current nonsense clears up. Thanks!
  3. I bought this some years ago,, probably from someone on the board. It was unopened until recently when I was at the SOS show in Louisville when my buddy questioned whether it was really a Thompson sling as it didn't seem to be the shape or size of a rolled sling. We googled the ordnance numbers and the closest thing that came up wash a "medical' sling. So we gingerly opened it and lo and behold it is a Thompson sling folded into the box 70 some years ago just as you see it here. I'm looking to sell it for $100 OBO + $8 Priority mail shipping. I'll accept PayPal, Venmo or a check. Whatever works. Thanks for you interest. Bill
  4. The auction states "Currently on a Form 4. Can only be transferred to a Class III approved dealer in the buyer’s home state". That's not quite true is it? You can ship it to a C&R holder directly as I recall.
  5. I may have inadvertently sold a SWCO V mag lately as I thought I had one. So if you bought some mags from me, check them out and your welcome!
  6. I've been thinking of offering my wife's M1 up for sale on the board. If that's an indication of the pricing I will have to get out my camera.
  7. I have a quantity of 30 round mags I'd like to sell. Majority are in like new condition. A few with faded finishes as pictured. No significant rust or pitting. Majority are Seymour but also a few Auto-Ordnance and Crosby. Asking $35 each plus shipping. $25 for the faded ones. Will take PayPal, Zelle or checks with the usual caveats. Only shipped to states where legal. Sample of $35.00 $25.00
  8. I have these beautiful Dan 'Deerslayer' Block horizontal and vertical grips that fit the 3/4 WH grip mount. Not to undercut Dan but I have no use for them. I'm looking for $45 each which includes the mounting screw and sling swivel, plus shipping. Or highest offer . Thanks
  9. I have these two mags plus two more similar ones if you are interested $45 each plus shipping. Thanks
  10. This is my MGC. The box identifies it as Thompson M-1921 TAAC Anti-Bandit Submachinegun. I haven't fired it in years but it worked great. They are great replicas down to the drum. I seem to recall MGC drums were used for a time when there were restrictions on the capacity or something. I also have a Hudson M1A1 model gun but it is missing the firing pin so I've never fired it but it is also very realistic.
  11. Hi All, Looking to do a little inventory reduction and want to sell the 6, 30 round mags pictured. I believe the four on the left are all Crosby with the circled CO visible on at least two . The two on the right are marked S.W.C.O. The wrappers were disturbed long ago to determine the manufacture as you can see in the picture. Otherwise they are unopened $45.00 each plus shipping. Will accept PayPal or check by mail subject to the usual terms. Send PM if interested or have questions. First come first serve. Will only ship to states where allowed by law.
  12. With Dave’s kind permission of course. The receiver was manufactured and engraved by Doug as a Model 1928 A1 ( no serial number ). The underside of the receiver is marked with an R. I bought this 20+ years ago and don’t know much about it or who I got it from. The parts kit includes a finned barrel (easily removed) with I believe a Type II compensator ( no bullet ) and which is not pinned. The bore looks clean with a lot of rifling. The lower is marked with No. S-267833. I haven’t taken it apart to see what’s in it. I was not able to slide it all of the way off the receiver as you can see from the pictures though I have removed it before. Not sure what is holding it up, I’m sure someone here can tell me, but I didn’t want to start dismantling the lower. The but stock looks like it has a T stamped on it and is marked with 5332. The butt plate is marked 7552. The horizontal grip has a S. I’d like to get $2500 for the whole thing but will entertain offers if you think I’m low balling it. I'm only offering this on the board. If anyone has any comments or questions, Feel free to share.
  13. Sorry to hear this. Got the 28 parts kit for my PK'd West Hurley from Don.
  14. If you are going to be there, please stop by and say hello at my friend's table in the very corner next to Rupture Duck. I'll be there with Mike and Kirk, Thompson collectors both. Hope to see you. Bill
