I'm just starting reloading with my Bren and I can give one piece of advice to watch for. I'm currently loading Hornady 174 gr FMJ's. I ran into a problem with these projectiles when loading so that it crimped on the bullet ogive. Loading to this length causes a much shorter OAL than military surplus rounds. The shorter rounds were then allowed to move back and forth in the magazine and rimlock themselves. The one reloading tip I have at this point is that you might have to go long on the OAL (when compared to the ogive) to match the military surplus ammo. Good luck.
