  1. Being new here I don't want to step on any toes.....but from what I see, ALL of his prices are totally nuts. Even the stuff that is available at the LGS. He has Colt LE6290 and the FN FNP45 Tactical for nearly double the price I see from other on-line places I frequent.
  2. Concrete encased gunroom......I have no idea what you are talking about. I learned many years ago when I was in the miltary....the less said about anything of value the better off a person is.
  3. Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes!!! I am not one to post a lot but I do read everything I can to further my knowledge. The advice on getting my C&R is a step I have intended to take many times. I was in the AF and after that my wife was in the Army for 24 years (she has recently retired) and as many of you know, the constant deploying/moving while in the military make it difficult in regards to firearms. Our last assignment was in the DC area. We lived in Falls Church, VA and VA is an awesome state for firearms owners and collectors, but don't get me started on Maryland or DC. Actually we moved to south of Baltimore due to her job moving to Ft. Meade, MD. A person is almost scared to own anything other than a shotgun/rifle in that area. I moved back to MN and hope to stay for awhile......at least until this state taxes me out of house and home....or their firearm laws get to the point that makes me want to leave. I have the ideal home though.....a tract of land inside the Paul Bunyan State forrest with no neighbors, building a log house, and have my own landing strip. Yep, paradise!! So anyone in the area is welcome to stop in. Guess I better get started on that C&R paperwork!
  4. Hello everyone! My name is Keith, I live northern Mn, and I have a firearm problem. A little about me...I grew up on a dairy farm then moved up near Itasca State Park. Went into the military in the late 70's. Discharged and not long after that my wife joined the Army and she recently retired after 24 years active duty. I have aLways wanted a Thompson but due to the constant deploying, owning one would have been a headache. Now that I am pretty much settled back into my 'hermit' house in the country I am wanting to pursue possibly getting an automatic weapon. Of course the Thompson is at the top of the list. I haven't researched it a lot yet but I think in this restricive state I can onlyown a C&R type. Are there any MN members that might want to help me out or at least point me in the right direction. Actually if there is anyone nearby they are welcome to come to my place to shoot. I have 120 acres inside the Paul Bunyan State Forest...ie. not many neighbors close by. Unfortunately a person might have to wait until it gets a little warmer and this white crap is gone.
