Are any measurement templates available so a slab-sided front- grip can be re-sanded into the original front-grip contour? I'm thinking about measurement templates that can be placed on the front-grip to see where wood has to be removed. Best regards, CJR
Just got your Thompson loader and checked it out. Excellent workmanship and real slick to use wih fast delivery. Loads a 30 rd mag very quickly . Best regards, CJR
If a thicker buffer is preventing removal and all attempts fail , I'd suggest a sharp Xacto knife to cut out the thicker buffer. Once apart, replace the buffer with one with the correct thickness. Best regards, CJR
Two approaches; either cut springs to 9" length and install or make a simple long rod fixture and compress 10" long springs and hold them at coil bind for awhile to allow springs to take a "set" before installing them into bolt. Best regards, CJR
Yesterday, I tracked down who made the EZ Pull Spring Kits; i.e. Dave Jankowski of S&D Mfg or AMW Springs. Dave indicated to me that they stopped making the EZ Pull Kits a couple of years ago and they had no plans to make any more. So it appears any one interested in EZ Pull Kits will need to make their own. Best regards, CJR
Question. Since these EZ-spring kits are so hard to find and buy, why doesn't someone who owns a kit list the spring specs? "Specs" meaning; wire diameter, outside diameter of coils, spring lengths thickness of urethane buffer, etc. Best regards, CJR
