What A Country mags?
Briggsguy replied to Mainecoon's topic in Thompson Semi-Auto Discussion Forum (West Hurley & Kahr Semis)
I purchased New Auto Ordnance mags 20 and 30 size and they were reasobaly priced. I did have to open the locking hole slightly but they work great for me. I would recomend them to get your mags. I called them and told them what I wanted and they went through their mags and found what I was looking for. Quick shipping also. Jeff -

Frame Latch Button
Briggsguy replied to Briggsguy's topic in Thompson Semi-Auto Discussion Forum (West Hurley & Kahr Semis)
Hey guys I just recieved a new frame latch button and new spring and I see all the problems are with the spring. It grips the button on the bottom and the wide coiling of the end of the spring holds it into the gun. Fixed my problem with a new spring from Kahr. Jeff -
I`m Glad I Got It
Briggsguy replied to Briggsguy's topic in Thompson Semi-Auto Discussion Forum (West Hurley & Kahr Semis)
I dated it to 1987 and it shows the 1927 - A5 on the frame. It has had ALOT of rounds through it. The drum magazines slide right in and out very easy unlike my Thompson rifle. It has a thirteen inch barrel on it. I do not know any of the fourms needed to change the size of these barrels. Jeff -
I got a call from a local gunshop and he said a fifty round drum magazine came in. I had asked around to find Thompson magazines awhile ago and he rembembered me. He said it came in a box full of stuff and there was a Thompson pistol also. I went down to look and saw the pistol. He wanted to sell the fifty round drum mag and a thirty round stick mag with the pistol. I gave him a price and he gave me a price and we finally came up with a price that would work. I brought it home and have some questions I will be listing here. I see it is aluminum and pretty lightweight for the Thompson guns.

Frame Latch Button
Briggsguy replied to Briggsguy's topic in Thompson Semi-Auto Discussion Forum (West Hurley & Kahr Semis)
I have an older West Hurley gun and it seems the shape of the spring is what holds it in place. Coil it around the button and open up the side going into the hole. I am looking for a copy of a owners manual for the Thompson Semi auto 1927 A1 from the early eightys era. I have a Kahr owners manual but have no been able to find a copy or origional owners manual for my 1980 rifle. Anyone have any ideas for me? Thanks Jeff -

Thanks and it is attached to the pin. Jeff -
I received my new loader today and these loaders look beautiful and work soooo well. It looks like it will last me a lifetime of use. If you shoot your tommy often you need to get yourself one. It makes loading the mags so easy. THANKS Jon for letting me get one from you. Jeff
