  1. I have nine XXX and three XX magazines for $200 shipped. One of the XX mags is an error date. Most magazines rate from very nice to good condition. Great deal for under $20 a stick shipped to your door. First"I'll take it" followed up with PM gets them. I will likely not be able to get pics up for another day or two. To give you an idea of what you are buying, reference the three Seymour mags that recently sold on this site. My mags are like that or better for the most part.
  2. I measured the entire length including the head of the screw, and it turned out to be 4 7/8". It sounds like it's not the correct screw for a vertical grip. Mine also has a more rounded head like the top one in your pictures. The bottom one looks flat, or at least less rounded on top. I assume this one is a reproduction all the way around. I posted it on eBay for $65 and a Buy Now for $350 just in case someone determines it is in fact a real grip and is willing to buy it for the estimated value of $300-$400. That way I can sleep at night knowing I didn't get taken for lack of knowledge.
  3. The screw that this grip comes with is 4 7/8" in length. It must be a grip screw as you vertical grip screw looks to be a bit over 5" in length.
  4. The screw that I have goes all the way through the grip with threads showing on the other end. I don't know if it is the original screw that came with this particular grip or not, but was the only one of it's kind in the lot so I assume it was for this. I appreciate the input and will price this on eBay as a reproduction and let it go.
  5. I will ask the board members to comment and provide a good sale price for this grip. I have posted pictures of all sides and I believe the photos provide a good representation of it's color. It has plenty of scrapes, dings dents and gouges, but no cracks that I can see. This grip along with a few other small metal pieces will be the last of a collection of Thompson items to be sold off. I appreciate all who purchased some of my other items I had listed. If you want to make an offer, that is fine. If nobody on the board wants it, I will list it on ePay at the end of the weekend. Thank you
  6. Still some great items left at low shipped prices. The barrels remaining are priced lower than anywhere I have been able to find. Thanks to all who have purchased so far.
  7. Great prices on remaining items! Get them while you can. You'll regret it later if you don't.
  8. Added The Ultimate Thompson collector book by Tracie Hill.
  9. Some prices reduced. Get them while you can! Thank you
  10. I will not accept offers on available parts right now. I will lower the prices if need be if I feel that they won't sell at what I have them listed at. I think my prices are reasonable for the condition of the parts, as well as shipping being inclusive. Thank you!
  11. They are asking way too much for them IMO. I think $275-$300 would be reasonable.
  12. I'm looking very an excellent condition original WW2 finned barrel with threaded muzzle. Doesn't have to have the Cutt's, but I'm ok if it has one. Doesn't need to be NOS, but very good+ is what I'm looking for. Thank you
  13. Black River Militaria- The pictures you posted have the contours I would want to see in an original. It doesn't have the sharp contours like the one pictured in my previous post.
  14. hawksnest, This is a CURRENT auction, and likely not the grip you sold. Please open the link I posted to determine what grip I was referencing. I don't know if it's yours or not. The one I'm talking about is IMO definitely repro as discussed.
  15. gijive, I agree with you that the eBay grip definitely had characteristics of a Remington made grip however, it would be very difficult to authenticate without holding it in person. Someone IMO took a very big chance by paying up for it. The good thing about eBay is, their "buyer protection policy". If you deem it to be non-original upon receipt, then you can return and receive full refund. They are very good at supporting buyers in that manner. So, I guess it might have been worth a gamble. hawksnest, I would say we are just going to have to disagree on the authenticity of your grip on Gunbroker. At least you are honest enough to come forward on this forum and claim it as yours. If you believe it to be 100% legitimate then so be it. Some people will agree with you and others will agree with me. They will just have to form their own opinion of the piece. I have posted a couple pictures of the areas that lead me to believe it to be repro. It could be a 40y/o repro, but it is stilla repro IMO.
  16. Wow. $400 for a repro....and what do you know. 5 minutes later, another "original" popped up on gunbroker this time. It's obviously not original. This is now about the 5th or 6th "original" mint condition grip being sold in the past month. Please don't get scammed. If you want one that matches the original in contour either contact myself or Dan Block to have one made. I'll even match the color and wear on the vertical grip to the rest of your stock set. I'll post some pics of ones I have done for myself tomorrow if you would like one. I hate seeing people spend hundreds of dollars for something you can have for about $75. I have never made for anyone else before, but I just can't stand to watch another collector get burned. Link to bogus grip. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=542424802#PIC
