  1. Thank you very much for your thorough reply. That puts me on the right track. I'll get the referenced book. Thanks again.
  2. Gents, Hi. I spent about 20 minutes browsing different sections to find a reference or thread addressing serial numbers & dates of manufacture for the AO 1928A1. I have the Collector Grade Thompson reference too but it only has that information for the 1921. So, I humbly ask when approximately would Auto Ordnance M1928A1 serial number 539,409 have been built. Whether you give me the easy button answer or send me to a reference I thank you for the help. Photos here: https://imgur.com/a/heSgR3c Colin
  3. Gents, I offer a Thompson Carrying case. It's USGI, unmarked, used....and has stains, tears, and other signs of usage. This item needs repairs of a couple tears before usage, I believe. Please see pics here: https://imgur.com/gallery/B9PvKRr $150 plus $25 shipping and insurance. Lately I have not been on MGB very often but I'll check at least once a day for any replies. If I need to get further pictures, just let me know. DA gave me permission to list this item. Thanks Colin
  4. Drop $5 off each mag listed above so I can get these moved.
  5. I have the AOs on a separate thread...3 or 4 threads below this one
  6. Gents, I have a group of shooter mags I would like to offer for sale. There are here with me in NM, not in Poland or a different eastern European Country. These are not as nice as the NOS mags I offer in a different post. Springs are strong...they'll make great shooters but won't win a beauty contest. Images here: https://imgur.com/gallery/DAJZdWP Here's what they are (all flaws are pictured in the album): AO 30 rounder has very worn finish and the slightest dent Seymour 30 rounder with perfect bluing, but a small dent Seymour 30 rounder with a few scratches and a tiny spot of rust that was neutralized before it pitted the magazine Seymour 20 rounder with a tiny spot of rust that was neutralized before it pitted the magazine AO 20 rounder with some minor pitting on the bottom from and back AO 20 rounder with some minor pitting on the bottom from and the base That's six good shooters for $120. Shipping flat rate is $14. I can take personal check, MO, or paypal family / friends with a blank comments section-you cover any fees if applicable please. First to post, email, or PM gets 'em until I am sold out. I will not sell overseas. US Sales only and where legal. I work a day job so if I am a little slow to respond, I'd appreciate your patience. I plan to list some black crinkle oilers, nickel oilers, brass cleaning rods, steel cleaning rods, a Seymour L Drum, and some other manufacturer mags as soon as I can. DA Gave me permission to list these. Thanks for looking Colin

  8. Gents, I offer a Seymour 50 rounder. This L Drum mag is new old stock but unfortunately suffered a little storage wear on the edge at the 6'o clock position. It has minor pitting smaller than a dime. It's still filled with factory grease. This is the only one of these I have. Images here: https://imgur.com/gallery/DC4s207 $950 plus $30 shipping. 12. Gents, It's probably best to purchase a sling, individually based on actual photos. Yes, I offer a no-hassle return, but it's better to decide on actually what you want. Here's the best kept secret....the single wrap mags (factory or arsenal wraps) are definitely the better deal than the ones with cardboard if you will unwrap and shoot them. They're all in new condition! Clearly if you intend to keep safe queens the mags still in the wrap & cardboard are a steal. If you intend to shoot these....the arsenals and single wraps are phenomenal. r. Colin
  13. Gents, HI. Early this summer I joined the forum and have had the pleasure to meet a few of you online and appreciate the advice I have received. In July I returned to Stuttgart, Germany and picked up some more Thompson surplus from my dealer there. I bought a number of New Old Stock Surplus items that I listed previously at a rather attractive price. The group sold in a couple hours. Now, I have some similar items to offer again, but the difference is the currency has fluctuated since i bought the first group ( I buy in his currency [euros]) and I had to pay shipping. Customs was another 90 day matter but did not add to my cost. So, I offer another group of Thompson stick / box magazines, some Kerr khaki slings, some early black krinkle oilers, and some later oilers. Everything is New Old Stock or almost New Old Stock. **PICS** of buttstock oilers, slings, and cleaning rods: https://imgur.com/a/V2hRy First up: (20 0 available) Seymour Products 20 round magazines, loosely packed. $35 each. http://imgur.com/a/wCmRL (38 0 available) Seymour Products 30 round magazines, in the factory wrap with cardboard. $50 each https://imgur.com/a/9qp48 (10) Seymour Products 30 round magazines, in the yellow arsenal re-wrap. $47 each http://imgur.com/a/QATqZ (19 10) Seymour Products 30 round magazines, in the factory paper wrap minus the cardboard. $47 each (45 21) Buttstock Oilers, early, in the black krinkle finish.....most are in 85% condition....hardly used if at all....and all are serviceable (inspected by me). $30 each. Pictured at the link at the top of the page (21 12) Buttstock Oilers, late, in the nickle finish....most are 95%(+) condition, some new in the wrap....and serviceable (inspected by me)...$20 each. 14. Gents, It looks like all is SPF. Now I'll have money to get my 1928 barrel and bolt. Thanks Ross...on the advice to come over to here. Standup guy in all respects. Thank you. r/ Colin
  15. Gents, I am new to this forum but am a longstanding member of the CMP forum. If you want to check the buyer / seller feedback on me you will see I enjoy a solid, honest reputation there. I would like to offer some Thompson Stick / Box magazines in this post. I received permission from D.A. to do so. These are all N.O.S., may show minimal storage wear, but show no signs of use. My poor photography skills combined with the lighting in my garage wreak havoc on these pictures. The appearance of these mags in person is a consistent blue. They are not completely cleaned of preservative or even wax paper. If you need additional photos please don't hesitate to ask. (20 available) Seymour 30s in cardboard, $45 each http://imgur.com/a/9qp48 (10) Seymour 30s yellow wrap, $42 each http://imgur.com/a/QATqZ (10) Auto Ordnance 30s Loose, $35 each http://imgur.com/a/zElMA (10) Crosby 30s Loose, $32 each http://imgur.com/a/2n8gn (7) 5-Mag Pouches (for 20 rounders) General Shoe and Hoosier, $50 each (these may have verdigris on the snaps) http://imgur.com/a/KL2VY (20 and 20) Auto Ordnance and Seymour 20s Loose, $30 each http://imgur.com/a/wCmRL All prices above are plus shipping. 20 rounders $8 shipped any qty. 30 rounders and the pouches are $14 shipped any qty. I ship USPS priority with tracking. If you want insurance above the standard $50 I will get a quote and add to your shipping cost. I kindly ask for payment in USPS MO or check (personal, business are fine.) I work fulltime and can only access this board from home in the evenings. I can get my emails all day though. I will also be overseas 9-16 July....but gladly ship before or after that week. Thank you for looking and enjoy the Holiday weekend! r/ Colin
