  1. http://www.google.com/url?q=http://macleantech.com/uploads/BarrelRemoval_AmericanGunsmith_Nov08.pdf&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwi9sNuAs9LpAhXDY98KHRjiD6UQFjACegQIBxAB&usg=AOvVaw1P_1T-1WaWqluX_ZV_aK5k Here's a link to an article from the Nov 2008 issue of American Gunsmith on a barrel install/removal using Doug Richardson's tools which are very similar to the set Mohawk64 recently made. I know somebody was asking on another thread about information on using them. I know that there is no torque spec specified for the barrel installation, but when installing a new barrel, how tight is tight enough?
  2. I'm looking for a 1917 sling. It doesn't need to be show quality. Thanks
  3. Hi, I'm looking to buy an original savage finned barrel for a 1928 and an original Kerr nobuckl sling. Thanks
  4. Does anybody know what size threads the barrels are on a mp34? Im looking at getting a tap to clean up a set of threads. I've looked all over, but I can't find any information on them. Thanks
  5. Ok. Thanks. This is pretty much what I figured. I was holding onto it for a spare, but I'll probably end up buying another and just hang onto this one for now. Thanks
  6. I've had this thompson barrel in my extra spare parts pile. On the last section of thread, there is a section chipped off. Is this still serviceable? I've just held onto it for a while now, just curious as to whether it's still any good?
  7. Is there a company that sells receiver pieces or maybe an 80% receiver for mp34's? I'm looking into doing a semi build on a kit.
  8. When you say that they weren't marked at all, are you referring to stamps on the webbing or the nobuckl logo on the metal? I have seen a few without the nobuckl logo, but I always figured that they were repo's
  9. Thanks for the help. So from what I've read, is it true that any U.S. stamps on the webbing are fake?
  10. Hi, I'm curious which version and color of the nobuckl sling would be correct for my 1928a1 savage thompson? Not sure of the production date, but it is a 486,xxx serial number. Thanks
  11. There is a guy with the username shortfal on the www.k98kforum.com that I've heard from a few people that he does very good work on mp 44s
