  1. 11/16"x28 Some info here. https://www.machinegunboards.com/forums/index.php?/topic/21691-1918-bar-flash-hider-made/
  2. This video is like many other well known deceptive restoration videos on youtube. Dead giveaway is the bright orange surface rust. Typically they soak them in a water/chemical bath for a few days or weeks, looks like really bad rust, but is very superficial, as noted before by a lack of pitting. Easy cleanup, looks impressive and get lots of views, views equal income from youtube.
  3. He's down to 30K start, 37K BIN. https://www.gunbroker.com/Item/1002548584
  4. Not terribly common for feedlips to get damaged, but does happen. They don't make these mags anymore, although they made millions. But the most important reason is, in the NFA world, when someone comes out with a special tool, accessory, gadget, better made part, replacement part, or anything like that for your specific weapon, you buy it. They won't make it forever, they'll only make so many, and after they're no longer made, you say, "I should have bought one of those". Then, when you try to buy one, it costs three times as much, if you can find one for sale. And later if it turns out you didn't need it, you can sell it for three times what you paid. It's a no-brainer.
  5. Got my tool yesterday, nice work, thank you Tiz. Can't wait to use it..
  6. I uploaded the videos from Desert Brutality 2021 in St. George Utah. Was a great match, lots of fun, BAR was flawless. Open bolt, iron sights 300 yard battle sight setting, quite the challenge. https://www.youtube.com/user/HowlinMadAZ/videos
  7. Yes, has the early buffer tube, The M37 trigger group is semi/full, no modifications needed, pull out the trigger group pin, pull out trigger group, put in new trigger group, reinstall pin.
  8. I think I have some APEX parts on that rifle, ordered quite a few. Sorry I missed you guys, didn't get a chance to wander around much. I have one of the OOW 30 rounders, works just fine, the rules for Cold War Battle rifle limited me to the 20 rounders. I had great fun and beat 30+ people that didn't shoot a BAR.
  9. Marlin I've had a couple years now, shot it a few times in 2-gun competitions. Getting ready for InRangeTv Brutality match in Utah in November. Swapped out the original wood for later stuff so it won't get beat up. Got an M37 trigger group to try out just before this match.
  10. Oh, not to forget the 1945 M1 with 3.4M serial number for $2999. Wonder what my 1.6M serial number that's in nicer shape than that one is worth?
  11. Just look at that sellers other items. Chinese SKS $999, and not even a bringback.
  12. Buyer's premium is 26%, and that includes the 3% cash discount, add 3% for credit cards, and if they charge sales tax for everyone, could be up to another 10%. Some pretty good hammer prices, but few good deals, except a few of the belt-feds. $17000 hammer price. $4420 26% BP. $510 C/C fee. $850 5% sales tax. $200 shipping/insurance. $22980 approximate cost. Close to market value I think. https://www.proxibid.com/Firearms-Military-Artifacts/Military-Artifacts/N-ATTRACTIVE-ARSENAL-REFINISHED-RARE-M1-MODEL-THOMPSON-MACHINE-GUN-FROM-WORLD-WAR-II-ERA-CURIO-AN/lotInformation/53672972
  13. Someone must have enlightened them, they took it down.
  14. Has anyone else seen this? Not sure if they know what they have. https://www.proxibid.com/Firearms-Military-Artifacts/Firearms/Relic-H-R-410-Handy-Gun/lotInformation/53106638
  15. An alternative to a waiver is to have the barrel rifled. No longer an AOW with a rifled barrel. This guy: http://www.oregunsmithingllc.com/ You would have to ask him if he does 20 gauge, he does .410 for sure. Cost for a .410 Handy-Gun barrel was $200. Very nice work.
