  1. By the way, here is a picture of the charging handle. It is part of the dust cover. It is also called the bolt handle and the ejection port cover. The cover with the handle slide off easily when breaking down the gun. Again, thanks for any and all help!
  2. Newbie question here... I'm new to the restoration of old guns thanks to my aunt delivering to me all of my grandfather's guns. My favorite of the guns may well be the MAS 38. It's in relatively good condition with a serial number in the 29,000 range. The one piece that needs to be replaced is the charging handle. I've searched the internet to no avail. I'm wondering if the people here would know of good places to find obscure gun parts. Can someone recommend the best places to look for a charging handle for a MAS 38? I'm very excited to find this forum and all the great information. Cheers!
