  1. The first part is a mag catch no manufacture marking no hole and much nicer checkering is this a pre 28 part? And I have 3 ejectors one marked S looks normal but has a small hole no pin, and one marked T. and the third one is much longer no markings is this for a 22 Thompson? Any help appreciated.   5. FE427TP Yes, there is a market For a semi open bolt You just asking the wrong people, here everybody has a safe full of Auto Thompson. You don’t have to go to a class 2 to get a bolt made, make or modify you own if you can. I am very interested to see you design. I’m in the process of making a semi Suomi. We can’t say since we don’t know what you have. Make it and summit it to the ATF Technical branch. Tom

Nickel is an alloy Silvery white resistance to chemical and atmospheric corrosion, added to the steel in varying amounts, some 1912 Winchesters were made of a high percentage of nickel contain and the bluing just didn’t hold up. I’m sure some Thompson’s bolts had a high percentage of nickel so no finish was required. This was not a nickel plating process.
