  1. I am a bit baffled myself. My recent wait times have been....... 11 months 4 months 9 months 51 days
  2. Thank you for confirming the British proof marks. You are correct there was no blocking bar on this gun.
  3. Greetings, After only 51 days, my eform was approved to bring home my new M3. I previously knew that the barrel had British markings but upon closer inspection I am now curious if the right side of receiver and bolt are British marked as well. Please see photos. If someone can advise if the small markings are British, I would greatly appreciate it.
  4. I wanted to say thanks to Johnsonlmg41 for the ratchet springs and thanks to NFA Sales for the original steel rivets. I am attaching some photos of the rivet installation tool that I found which worked great. The tool cost less than the M3 gunsmith was going to charge to install rivets and when you consider shipping, this probably saved me $550. It was a relatively easy job. The hardest part was using heavy tape to pull the ratchet spring up tight against mag well prior to riveting.
  5. Hello, I am in search of m3 or m3a1 ratchet spring which keeps the barrel nut from loosening. If anyone can recommend a source, it will be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, I may have some reproduced. Is there a market for reproduction ratchet springs? Anyone else in need of them?
  6. Can anyone tell me what the letters "DCI" stamped on side of M1 forend represent? Thanks for any info. I am a new Thompson M1 owner (2ea) waiting on transfers. I have Tracy and Frank's books but don't see any reference to "DCI" stamp.
  7. I private messaged you....do you have any books left....thanks Scott
