  1. Also found out the Madsen Mark 4 was sold here in the states in 1970 for $350. by Interarmsco. What a deal. Mine is imported from El Salvador after service for 46 years in the jungle, by a Nevada Import co and is a nice complete parts kit. If you want one call Walter at: 702-564-0948 SLLIC co.
  2. Apariently, The co.:Dansk Industri Syndikat that made the Madsen gun have changed co's over the years at least three times since 1960. The new or suviving co is called Disa. They have a branch office in Oswego, Illinois. But they told me to try the main co. in Denmark. I will try this week and see what we can come up with!...I will be glad to share what I may get from them. Maybe a good drawing and a manual on the mark4 LMG Madsen Saetter gun!
  3. Anybody know where to get Madsen Saetter LMG info? A drawing or history or pictures? I've done some searches on the internet but always come up empty. The only thing I know is there 30:06 and used in south america to fight garilas there. It was supplyed by are CIA and made by a danish firm outsorsed to Indo china co. Would the present company have info? I know there still around making mounts or scopes. Anybody have an address or a parts kit like I do....Wondering what you can come up with!...
  4. Anybody have a lead for me on Info for the 30:06 Madsen Saetter machine gun? Drawings or manuals would be interesting also. Thankyou....George-Slowfinger
  5. I can't find reference to repo Thompson drums, so I thought I'd ask: Are the new made Crosby drums {repo} for sale on the marker for around $200. good functioning out of the box? How about Auto Ordnance drums? Would like a decent functional repo drum L for not too much money invested. One that won't take too much tweeking also...Slowfinger
  6. Scottie, Get hold of the latest Shotgun News Magazine, There's a good article with illustrations for bulding a realistic looking dummie sten! I would prefer to spend my time building a live one though....Slowfinger
  7. I thought John Bush had some Madsen subgun barrels, try him....Slowfinger

  9. I have three MP44s and they all run fine with Coles Privi Partizen ammo! Just clean the rifle completely when you get home....George-Slowfinger
  10. FAC, a few years ago had the complete demilled recievers for the M1A1 like yours for $525. Which I thought was high then but there not around much any more either...Slowfinger

  12. The Kit I bought from an Ill. co is almost brand new! The wood has a redish coloring to it. The bore is crisp and just jumps out at you. This will make a great display until a semi auto could be made of it. But if nothing else a great investment of history...Slowfinger http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif
  13. I just bought a 1928A1 parts kit. It looks to be brand new except the funny thing is the buttstock plate is painted flat black! Is this Russian origin? And those were originaly Blue? Help here with original info please...Thanks.....Slowfinger

  15. Will the Thompson Parts kit with cut reciever can just be pieced together enough to assemble still with reciever cuts in it, only as a display gun for like over the fireplace? Or would it fall apart and not stay together? Wondering for a future purchase......Slowfinger
