well,after 4 months I finally received my permit for a ssd- BD 38.

will go to the shop to order and assume I'll have it in a month or so.

thanks to our belgian law it will be the open bolt variant.

retail is something like 2300 euro. Will keep you posted how it handles

well, 1 month turned out to be 5, next week, the BD 38 will be delivered (finally) it will be the open bolt design, will take it to the range as soon as i get it

well, I finally got my gun, It took way longer than expected,but I must say, it really was worth the wait and the money.

 

I took it to the range straight out of the box.

-crafmanship is really excellent, when you look at the gun, you can really tell that mr Dittrich makes these with love for the weapon, really excellent in every detail, we are not talking about West- Hurley quality, these are much much better made , ferfect fit, nice finish,...

 

-function was perfect,I shot 100 rounds and hadn't a single malfunction

 

I'm really happy with this gun. Downside is that in the USA, this gun will be considered a machinegun, and after looking at the internals,it is indeed a machinegun with a disconnector

 

for those who can own this gun, go for it, SSD makes very limited quantity's and you got something that is really made to last
