dalbert
All, I've been collecting and selling manuals for a long time, and I don't recall any military issued manuals for the Winchester Model 97 or Model 12 combat shotguns that were published during the World War One era. I believe the standard Winchester produced manuals for those weapons may have been used. Bruce Canfield indicates in his book on Combat Shotguns that there are no known WWI era military manuals for shotguns, and I bet he would have run across one during his research, if anyone would have. I'm almost certain this is an open and shut subject, but I just want to float the question out there in case anyone has an example of one they could offer.
