james m
Apparently we don't have an UZI specific forum so I'm posting this here. I just picked up an UZI(IMI) parts set and I'd like to make it into a display piece. Does anyone know where I can get a suitable dummy receiver? I know Reconbob made up some UZI 80% receivers which I would use at one time and I emailed him. So far I haven't received a reply.Jim Edited August 29, 2012 by james m
Edo
Hi James! I recently built a \n Uzi and I started with a Gunparts parts set and got an 80 % receiver from a company in Texas for $95.00. I found it offered on Gunbroker. If this doesn't help I think I have his number in my phone. Hope this helps. Edo

The owner of UziTalk and I are friends, and that's why I don't add an Uzi forum, and he doesn't add a Thompson forum. There's a wealth of knowledge on UziTalk, and I also participate there from time to time. Of course, you are welcome to discuss Uzis here on this board or the Class III board.
