How to set Thompson L sight rivets?

Does anyone have any experience properly setting sight rivets so they look like this? What tools did you use?

The rivets on my 1928 are a thing of beauty. They look like they were done by NASA.

 

There are pictures on here somewhere.

 

I've wondered how they set the rivets, it must have been a very high quality tool.

a "Nut Cracker", lol

 

Something like this, Could be pneumatic or like pliers.

Done lots of them and can copy any style needed. Also can reset existing rivets.

Remember that rivets on AOCs should have dimples in the top. Savages are flat topped.
