HAC 7 Knife Ser. No. 008 by Parsons

I recently acquired this knife at a Dallas estate sale. It is a beautiful knife. Was it supposed to be matched with rifle Ser. No. 008?

Yes, I believe the knives were made to match the rifle serial numbers, but I'm not 100% certain. I seem to recall an owner or two in the past on the old Biggerhammer board talking about owning a knife with theirs that matched their serial. The knife at the link below has a longer blade than the one you have.

Thank you David. I have seen that post/link and yes, the dimensions of the two knives are quite different, but I am hoping that my knife may still be the correct knife for rifle s/n 008. Thanks for the reply.
