I had safe doors like that for many years that I never ended up installing, and I gave them away prior to my move to Ohio. Mine had an insert just like yours, but I couldn't see the vials, as they were encased in some kind of resin, or similar substance. Springman Posted October 11, 2017 Author Report Share Posted October 11, 2017 Not what I was expecting when I removed the bolts on the black box, I was actually taking a look at how to change the combination, never even noticed the sticker above the black box. Looks like enough gas to mess up a burglar pretty good. My google search of this kind of booby trap shows that this stuff is left over gas form WWII. Any more info would be greatly appreciated.
