StrangeRanger
For an M1Heavy coating on the recoil spring and guide and a bit lighter on the firing pin spring. Then a very light coat on all 4 sides of the bolt.Assemble, cycle the bolt by hand a few times and wipe the excess grease off the actuator slot
ranger1385
When I was 60 gunner, we applied Breakfree with a shaving brush (horse hair) over the entire weapon. I use that brush and a gallon of Breakfree i "borrowed" from the Army to this day. A gallon goes a long way. The bolt gets a little extra.
