Steelflood
The Indy Ord BFO uses an m1a1 style bolt and a ground down 1928 spring guide pilot. I have to grind down the flat portion on the spring guide buffer. What are my options to do this with a professional look? Although I'm very familiar with the precision tool called a "Bench Grinder" I wanted to see what a competent person would use. The Indy instructions tell you what parts to put in the upper. but makes no mention of the oiler. It doesn't seem like putting the oiler in would hurt anything. Since a member very rightly might why I'm asking the board, I'll just briefly tell you. Instead of answering the email question Jason at IO asked if I've read the instructions. I shouldn't have replied but I did ask unironically if anyone at IO has read the instructions and the IO website.
brveagle
Hey man, have you thought about just posting in just one thread, instead of starting a new topic each time. I find it all pretty confusing.
Countryboy77
The oiler might help relieve some stress on the rear but with no blish lock ears to come in contact with the pads it's useless.
